The 2010 China Visiting Dancers

These are the dancers that will be heading to China in July for the 2010 Shandong International Youngsters’ Culture Tour. They will be flying into Hong Kong to travel into Shenzhen to attend a two-weeks culture camp before traveling to Shandong. After a week-long culture exchange program, they will go onto Beijing to see the sights, and return home from there, with a few returning from Shanghai.

This year with the airline ticket prices being so expensive, partly probably due to Shanghai is host to the World Expo, the girls and their parents are working extra hard to raise the funding. They are also working hard on their dance routines, spending up to 8 hours a day! With only a few weeks before their scheduled departure, it’s putting their noses to the grindstone!

It will be a challenge to be away for almost a month, but such a great opportunity as well. The dancers are looking forward to it. In the mean time, there’s the passport and visa stuff to take care of first!
